During the last three years our community forum has been steadily growing with help of our loyal customers. Unfortunately as the number of posts and popularity has increased, so did the amount of spam and painful inadequacies of the phpBB platform. For some time we have planned to switch to a new platform, but the inability to transfer original content from the legacy system has kept us from proceeding any further.

The need to change our community platform became clear last week as the result of massive spam campaign unleashed on our forum that resulted in corruption of several InnoDB tables on the old phpBB database. Instead of recovering old database from backups as we have done is the past, we have decided to pull the plug and go with the new CommunityServer platform.
