    WEB22 IIS6 Server Connectivity Issues

The CLE02WEB01 (WEB22) IIS6 server has lost IP connectivity during early AM hours on Sunday June 29th. We had to dispatch a technician to the data-canter this morning as we were unable to restore connection remotely. From preliminary reports it appears the Ethernet port on the Cisco switch that this server was up-linked to has failed and as result the IP connectivity has been lost. As of 9:45AM GMT-5 we have rewired and reconfigured our switch in order to resume service. This is only a temporary measure until we receive a new switch to replace the failed unit. We will post any updates in this thread as more information becomes available.

Re: WEB22 IIS6 Server Connectivity Issues

The CLE02WEB01 (WEB22) IIS6 server lost IP connectivity again early this morning. We are currently still investigating the direct cause of this issue. We are very closely monitoring this server in an effort to prevent further issues and also determine the direct cause of this morning's issue. It was initially thought to be related to the Cisco switch problem as described above but after further investigation we can't conclude that 100%. The issue has been corrected at this time and all sites hosted on this web server should have returned to normal operations. This issue is not affecting any other servers and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused for sites on the CLE02WEB01 IIS6 server. We will update this thread with more information regarding the direct cause of the issue as we discover it.
