We have been waiting for enough people to join the user group before holding a meeting, after all no one wants to show up only to be with one other person in what is supposed to be a group.

 To get things going, we have decided to schedule our first meeting for Saturday, December 1st 2007 starting 2PM. The meeting will be held at IHOST, LLC office in Westlake, Ohio. We have a big screen DLP projection monitor to hookup laptops and show off your stuff and play Nintendo Wii. We don't have any particular agenda in mind other than meeting everyone and get to know local DNN enthusiasts.

If you have any suggestions or are planning on attending, please let us know so that we can plan accordingly.

Sounds like a perfect excuse to visit a local pub after the meeting ;-) Our office is across the street from Westlake Crocker Park (http://www.crockerpark.com/) which has the best bars on the West side of Cuyahoga.

Sounds good, I will be there.  It's not my birthday, but any excuse to go to the Winking Lizard is ok for me. 

I will also be there.  I am willing to present one of my sessions that I did at OpenForce Europe or OpenForce North America if anyone is interested.

Much as I would like to be there, it is going to be impossible. My husband gets off work here in Sandusky at 4pm, and I'd have to be here to pick him up. (We only have one vehicle between us!) In any case, I'm a relative novice when it comes to DNN, so was really looking for help... 

The first meeting was successfully held in our Office. Although fewer people have showed up than what we have expected, we had a lot of interesting conversations followed by a very informative presentation about Power-Shell by Joe Brinkman from DotNetNuke Corporation. Joe possesses great wealth of knowledge in all things .NET. We are looking forward to seeing Joe and other North Shore DNN group members in the future meetings.
