    Prepropagation - problem.

Hello, i'm trying to get a new domain up and running on ihostasp, and i can access it with preprop enabled,  BUT as soon as i turn off preprop it fails to resolve, even though all dns is setup correctly,  it doesnt seem to make much sense,   if i use the www.domain.com even with preprop enabled it comes up withthe preprop address,  but if i take preprop of and try www.domain.com  it fails to resolve weitha  website declined to allow you to see this message. Yep, you are 100% spot on. The issue is occurring due to DNN not recognizing new host header and it is attempting to redirect to the only host name it is aware of. Follow instructions in   http://support.ihostasp.net/Customer/KBArticle.aspx?articleid=57 and your problem will be resolved.

    Re: Prepropagation - problem.

I think they moved some things around in the newer versions of DNN! In my case, I found I had to use the Portal Module under the host menu to setup a new host leaving the prepropigation module active. It looks like things are working now. (Under http://www.cebug.org ). Also found alias for http://cebug.org is working too so I guess I did that right. On to cleaning up install clutter, and so forth!

BTW, not that I intend to put another portal up, but if that would be an option I have to leave that prepropigation module in there. Correct? Just figuring things out here!

Never mind this post, found I could edit my original post to reflect corrected facts. I guess this thing won't let me delete this post now! ;-) Still learning this thing...
