We have detected a high level of index fragmentation on a significant number of databases hosted on mssql05.ihostasp.net database server. Fragmented table indexes cause poor query performance and increase disk and CPU IO which further degrades server performance. As the result, we are executing index rebuild script on all databases located on this server. The rebuild process will run approximately 12 to 14 hours and may cause temporary table locks and/or query delays.
