    Server Maintenance

Maintenance: Our facility engineer will be performing power load rebalance in C20 rack at CLE02 facility. This procedure is necessary to ensure power feed circuits are evenly loaded to  insure the circuit failover does not trip a circuit breaker and cause cascading power loss.

Scope: The following servers will be shut down for approximately 10 minutes starting 11AM EST on Saturday, October 17th in order to switch the AC circuit they are connected to;  CLE02WEB04, CEL02WEB05, CLE02WEB06, CLE02WEB07, CLE02WEB08

CANCELED! We could not complete this switch due to circumstances beyond our control, it will be rescheduled for a future date.

    Re: Server Maintenance

We have encountered problems while switching power circuits. Our rack APC IP power distribution unit failed to boot up, we thinking an electrical surge may have zapped it. We are brinning servers back on on a backup PDU right now.

    Re: Server Maintenance

All servers are currently operational using direct power feed. We are installing replacement IP PDU unit right now and are going to have to switch each server off to a replacement unit in aproximately 45 minutes.
